Thanks to high-performance equipment, our carrots are carefully washed, calibrated, and sorted to preserve only the very best of Normandy's production. Once prepared, they are packaged according to our customers' requirements: in bags, nets, or bulk, ready to be shipped across France and Europe.

Producer's Tips: How to properly prepare your leeks?

 
The leek is a traditional vegetable that requires special attention during preparation. Because the quality of our products deserves an optimal tasting experience, the Gosselin Group shares its secrets for perfect cleaning.

The step-by-step method:
  • Strategic cutting: Trim the roots and any damaged tips of the green part. Don't throw all the greens away: they are excellent for flavoring your broths!
  • The opening: Slit the leek stalk in four (in a cross shape) starting from the upper part.
  • Dynamic rinsing: Let cold water run inside the leaves while gently separating them. The soil, naturally present from field cultivation, will easily wash away.


By mastering these simple gestures, you preserve all the tenderness and delicate flavor of this emblematic vegetable of our plains.

Recette : Gratin d'automne

 
Une recette simple, réconfortante et pleine de saveurs d’automne...
Pour 4 personnes :
  • 1 petit potimarron (ou ½ butternut)
  • 2 carottes
  • 2 poireaux
  • 2 pommes de terre
  • 1 oignon
  • 20 cl de crème fraîche (ou végétale)
  • 100 g de fromage râpé (comté, emmental, ou chèvre frais émietté)
  • 1 c. à soupe d’huile d’olive
  • Sel, poivre, muscade


Préparation :
1. Préchauffez le four à 190 °C.
2. Épluchez les légumes et coupez-les en petits morceaux.
3. Faites revenir l’oignon et les poireaux émincés 5 min dans une poêle avec l’huile d’olive.
4. Dans un plat à gratin, alternez les couches de légumes. Salez, poivrez, saupoudrez d’un peu de muscade.
5. Versez la crème par-dessus et recouvrez de fromage râpé.
6. Enfournez 35 à 40 min, jusqu’à ce que le dessus soit doré et les légumes fondants.
